GDPR (Data Protection)

The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK's implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Everyone responsible for using personal data has to follow strict rules called 'data protection principles'. They must make sure the information is: used fairly, lawfully and transparently

At the Arches, information is only shared on a need to know basis, therefore sharing only the speciific information that is needed and only to those who need to know it. This level of data protection for all pupils, parents/carers and staff further safeguards these parties and ensures that all personal and sensitive information is kept private at all times, appropriately shared and anonymised thoroughly.

If you have a change of heart with regards to your data consent within school (sharing school photos, Twitter and Facebook etc), please contact the office staff to ensure this is noted and shared with staff, complying with GDPR regulations by doing so.
